THE BEST GAS CAN !!! Forget all the crappy plastic cans with “high tech” safety pouring spouts. Cheap plastic cans that expand and contract, that will eventually crack. This is a rugged metal can with a great paint coating. Reminiscent of the cans my father had that he got from his father, except this one has a better finish! The only thing that I would fault it for is not having a stopper to put in the pouring nozzle. I’m reviewing this gas can as it compares to standard plastic CA compliant cans that are available at auto parts stores and home improvement centers. Compared to those plastic cans, this can is an absulute 5 star product.Firstly, you do have to assemble the hose on the can with a gasket and two screws. I used gasket sealer on the gasket and firmly tightened, but not OVER tightened, the screws. The gasket can smash too much and crack/tear, so don’t over tighten the screws…
