Good concept; too costly in the long run I’ve had the 40V string trimmer and the 40V mower for about 4 years. The tools are made well enough but batteries don’t appear to be Ryobi’s strength. For a SF home on a 1/3 acre lot (pretty normal), it was clear that I needed at least 2 batteries to complete front or back yards. The first time I purchased a 2nd battery, the unit was defective and stopped running at half capacity. Returned it immediately for another new unit. After about 4 years, the first battery finally started going…
