Fast Fact: Did you know that using a traditional gas-powered lawn mower for an hour produces as much air pollution as a new car driving 350 miles?

Battery-Powered Precision

The Remington cordless push mower features a removable 24-volt battery that gives the mower grass-dominating power without a cord to hold it back. Maintenance-free, it never needs gas, oil or tune-ups. Its 19-inch, three-in-one cutting deck gives you the option of mulching, side discharging or rear bagging your grass clippings. The deck can also be raised or lowered to any of six positions with a single height control lever (from 1.23 inches to 3.5 inches).

Effortless Operation

In addition to no more trips to the gas station, our electric mower makes life simple in other ways, too. To minimize strain on your hands and arms, an ergonomic handle and foam cushion grip absorb vibration. It also features durable 7-inch front and 8-inch rear wheels that help you maneuver over and around objects with ease.

Remington 24v Battery 19″ Lawn Mower I bought the Remington 19″ 24v battery powered lawn mower from Sears as the product was on sale for $299 marked down from $439. My next closest purchase would have likely been a gas powered rear bagger some where in the $200 range.A little background first… I’ve owned a briggs & stratton rear bagger gas engine for nearly 10 years… just shy by a few months. The gas engine model still works but is very cranky to start at times. I am a mechanic and have taken it apart many times…

Used it for 1 year and I like it My only issue so far with this mower is battery life, but I knew that would be an issue before I bought it. It is electric after all, and like their all-electric automobile counterparts, range can be limited. The harder the mower has to work, the quicker the charge goes out. My yard is less than a 1/4 acre and flat, and when I mow regularly (grass doesn’t get too long) I can just eke out a full mow on one charge. I usually stick with the side discharge, but if the grass just needs a trim, it…

It worked all right the first time until the battery ran out after I barely finished the front yard, which is not very big (I had fully charged the battery before the first use). After fully charging it, I started mowing my backyard, at which point the mower would start in fits and stop suddenly. Maybe the wiring was faulty or something but I had to give up after so many failed attempts to get it to work smoothly. I had no problem having the item returned to…
