Good Little Chipper Product arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. I put it right to work and have waited a several months before writing this review. It works great for a light weight chipper. It cuts with a horizontal spinning lawn-mower type blade (like a food slicer) and quickly chips through green wood up to 1-1/2 inches. If the wood is very dry or a hard wood, it won’t take this diameter. It makes small chips of most material–just right for the compost pile or to use as mulch. However, small branch ends…

A little disappointed. I don’t know if I received one with dull blades or not. But this unit is supposed to take everything up to 1 1/2″ thickness. Mine doesn’t. Even small branches (1/8″ dia) are not really chopped up but tend to be just stripped of bark. Kind of disappointed. I also wish the intake hopper was larger. It sucks having to cut things up (like old roots and bulbs) with a hoe before you put them into the shredder. It seems to have adequate power though. Would not buy another one.
