First i noticed when i installed it there were no b&s logos stamped on it like the original so it made me feel like it wasnt “OEM” but had grass to mow so i put it in anyway. 5 starts later the inside of the gear is stripped out and wont engage or turn spend the extra 50 bucks and make sure its the real deal

Installed part then had to shim out to keep from being to deep into the flywheel. Starts great every time now.

Plastic gear teeth are showing signs of wear after only about 10 starts but seems to turn at a higher speed start.
