The ultra-sharp, rust-resistant blade is thoughtfully shaped for a wide range of tasks, helping to speed your work while leaving one hand free to pile cuttings. The comfortable performance handle design features an intelligent texture pattern and lets you choke up for precision work, grip the middle for general use or grip the end to swing with maximum force. The design also includes a sharpened blade curve for quick pull-cuts and a coarse saw edge for powering through tough branches.

Well designed and comfortable, if you plan to sharpen it yourself. I was quite disappointed with this when it arrived. It looked to be incredibly useful, particularly for trimming small branches, gardening tasks, and defense against zombie invasions. The problem is that somebody forgot to sharpen it. Taming the Wilderness For me this is not a five star product; the four star rating is generous. The Chinese made tool seems sturdy with good balance and heft. the inclusion of a nicely designed sheath is a welcome addition. The Billhook saw’s performance isn’t impressive however, with its mediocre saw and so so machete. The curved hook side comes with a blunt, dull edge that needs sharpening. Be prepared to sharpen it significantly before use. May be best for an emergency kit or somewhere you don’t have other tools. I really expected to like this much more than I did. No. I just would not use it as my primary tool of choice for sawing, chopping, or cutting, particularly the sawing function. This may be an appropriate choice for an emergency preparedness kit, and could be useful with limited availability of other tools…
