Just picked up the Fiskars 8LB maul at CT in Ontario, Canada(could not find it anywhere online at the time) they had just received new stock and took a while to find it in the warehouse. Looks and feels great! Very solidly put together. Here are some details: the very sharp wedge is very wide at 3 inches and tapers out to 4.5 inches very quickly. My model was forged in Taiwan and assembled in Vietnam. The poll is large at 2.75 inches, great for driving wedges. Whole head is 8 inches long…
