Platen not flat Bought this sharpener on the recommendation of a youtube video. I tried using it right out of the box, but soon discovered that the platen on which the blade holder rests was warped about .015″. The thought of repackaging and returning prompted me to attempt to flatten said platen myself. Excellent ** (with asterisks) This tool is great for what its made for: power planer and jointer blades. However you will note a lot of people use it to sharpen a lot of things, and this is the beauty and the curse of the machine.
