Easy to install! Fits just right! I was looking for replacement front wheels of our Craftsman Lawnmower model 917.378642 for about 3 months. Poor lawnmower design means you’ll buy a lot of these.
I’ve never understood the logic behind having the plastic gear teeth of this wheel engage with the metal teeth of the sprocket that turns it. Anytime the lawnmower is engaged in the drive position and gets hung up on something in the yard the metal teeth strip out the plastic teeth on the wheel. This happens a few times and the drive wheels no longer drive. That said, in the years that I’ve owned my lawnmower I’ve had to replace the drive wheels frequently and they are not inexpensive…
