This is a great idea! I love this mower. My yard is a little larger than the .25 acres that the product covers, so we only use it in the back yard, fenced area.There are only a few pieces to unbox. It may be just the ticket for an elderly family member Installing the wire boundary and “follow home” guide wire took one evening (couple hours) a pretty big back yard. I accidentally hammered down the wire too much once and broke it (was able to splice back together with two of the included water proof splicers. I did not have the splicers punched down all the way so the wiring didn’t work at first (solid yellow light on base station). My in-laws are getting older and have a large yard. My father-in-law prefers to mow himself and he doesn’t like using a riding lawnmower because he lives at the beach and his lawn is usually a bit mushy which isn’t great for larger lawnmowers.
