Very misleading I purchased this battery as a replacement for my new Greenworks G-MAX 40v lawnmower. I was under the impression that this was just an older version of the G-MAX battery and the product description clearly said it was compatible with all greenworks 40v line of tools…Jump forward to the day it arrived and I was heartbroken to find out the the battery (although it looks almost identical, except for the G-MAX missing on the side) did not fit into the charger or the mower!!Buyer…
Hefty, well designed, good value The headline says it. This battery lasts longer than I thought it would in a chainsaw. The muti-led “fuel” gauge is handy, shows state of charge remaining when you push the button to see it for a few seconds (wisely it doesn’t stay lit all the time). This is a heavy seemingly well built battery. I use if on the Greenworks 12″ chain saw, bought this one as a backup so always have one charged and ready to go but in reality I probably could just have gotten by with the identical…
For Greenworks lawnmower I bought this battery as a backup in case I ran through the 2 batteries that came with my new Greenworks lawn mower. I have a 1/4 acre in the backyard and a small front lawn to mow. I now can easily do front and back yard in one afternoon without worry. It is easy to check how much juice you have left by checking the light level indicator on the front.
