Some good, some bad Having moved into our first house with a yard, I was committed to care for the lawn myself and not hire out. I researched lawn care heavily and began the routines that most recommend (water heavily and infrequently, mow high, don’t cut more than 1/3″ the length when mowing, organic fertilizers, get a soil test, etc.). Great mowing experience! I have converted from a gas-powered mower, and do not regret it. This thing is clean, quiet, and the grass looks great. The catcher works pretty well, too, although it is not that big.My biggest surprise was that it is actually fairly easy to push. I was expecting a workout, but it’s actually more like a walk in the park….Two thumbs up!
No point in the “catcher” I had originally ordered the 79 dollar one, but it kept saying it was available but it was not shipping. Finally, after chatting with Amazon support, I learned they really had NO idea when it was going to come. In desperation, as my grass continued to grow despite the delay in the lawn mower’s arrival, I went with this one.This cuts the grass very well, but does not cut the weeds, which means I still have to go back over with the weed whacker/trimmer.
