Everything you expect – until it breaks second time you use it! See the edit below my initial review (which had been 5 stars) ***(NOTE – this was my initial review before the failure)I see no downside to this trimmer. I was able to trim a somewhat overgrown Holly hedge that is waist-high about 40 feet long, plus about 6-7 other bushes. Including some ‘wild’ trees/weeds poking up thru the hedge. I did have to go back and do some ‘fine’ trimming – but that was typical for my previous (18v B&D) cordless. This unit sounds like it is reciprocating…
Very good product I was very pleasantly surprised at the power of this unit. I have a gas powered (weedeater brand) and this unit more than holds its own against it. Only problem you may have is that it is not as noisy as a gas engine version so if you like the noise,..this may not be your choice.
Does its job Bought this because i have lots of shrubs too far from the house, and this battery system works with the pole saw I also bought. The battery lasts a long time, and I can use the pole battery if it runs out, and visa versa. Love this cutter–its sharp and does’n strip the plants. Not as light as an electric one but who wants 125 ft of cord following you around! Keep it clean and oiled and it will serve you well.
