Surpassed Expectations! I really wanted to like this saw but after two failures I have to rate it one star. The first saw failed after 100 cuts or so. It started to make a grinding noise and the chain would not move. One year later the replacement saw failed with the same problem; a broken motor bracket (see attached picture). This polesaw really is nicely balanced and convenient whether you use the middle pole or not. Lots of cutting power and tackles six inch limbs with ease. That said the negatives are not stoppers but be aware. In initial use the chain will need monitoring for tightness every few minutes on the first day. The next day it was better but the faceplate does come loose as do the pole locks, just keep you eye on that. It uses A L O T of oil very quickly so keep your eye on that too. About the…
