Nice Light Weight Cutter ! Don’t let the 13″ length scare you away if you need a light weight backpacking saw. This is extremely light for the size and with blade guard attached can easily slip inside your pack or attach to the outside. The coated blade and finely finished teeth cut effortlessly through even large branches or trees. Now, it’s not a speed saw but it still moves through wood fairly quick without jamming. This product is well made and works better than expected. I am kinda a weakling when it comes to sawing off tree branches, but my gosh, this thing is sharp and easy to use even for me. I sawed off more and bigger branches than I expected to be able to do. BIG branches and tree roots. Starting up and using a chain saw is not something I really want to do so when I saw this it looked like something I could handle with out risking cutting off any of my own parts.
