Easily reaches over the neighbor’s fence for needed pruning It does everything they trumpet in their description. Haven’t used it on a tree yet but the neighbors F—— cactus which insist on growing like huge weeds over our fence have felt the brunt of my disgust. They tremble when they see it coming. Has trouble staying locked in place when compact. This makes cutting in this configuration very difficult. This may just be a defect in my product, but it was disappointing enough to drop my rating of this otherwise great saw from a 5 to a 3.I would still recommend this product as it is primarily meant to be used to cut high limbs while fully extended.
