too thick for fly tying I had a pair of these fiskars snips that were years old with fine tapered points, like the ones pictured above. I used them for fly tying. when they got dull I ordered new ones here, hoping to get the same kind of snips with fine tapered points and a precise edge. The ones I got are a totally different type of cutting edge/blade, they’re blocky and thick (like kitchen shears but small) and difficult to use for precise tasks, almost useless for fly tying.
