Press button hard/fully ALL the Way IN, and HOLD IT IN for auto-shut off to work correctly. I saw this product listed in a Honda lawnmower owner’s manual, and thought it looked like a great idea. I thought maybe I had overfilled the gas can to start with, so I kept trying for several weeks (each time overfilling and spilling gas!) Works Great As Long As You REALLY Tighten The Cap I wanted a good gas can that wouldn’t make a mess and so after reading reviews I decided to pick up this No-Spill Ploy Gas Can. This is a fairly traditional gas can with two notable additions. The first is a opaque fill window which easily lets you see how much gas is in the can. This is a nice touch an makes both filling, and seeing how much gas you have very easy. The second is a push button top which makes dispensing gas extremely easy. The one real issue with the No-Spill Gas…

I have tightened it and re-tightened it. I took it off and inspected for burrs or other inconsistencies and didn’t note anything…
