I finally cut the cord and I’m not looking back Up till now my only leaf blowing experience is with the (exceptional) . The Tanaka is even better (except for the part where it does not work as a vacuum).Assembly was easy. I connected the big tube to the blower and the pointy end to the big tube. That is clearly explained in the instructions and those instructions are surprisingly clear…

Dies during 2nd usage The first time I used this I would have given it 5 stars. I used it in the fall with no problems and it started right away when I used it this spring. After using it for 1 and 1/2 tanks of gas it just died. It sounded like it was starving for gas. In trying to restart it it didn’t even provide a sputter. I tried using starting fluid with same result. I pulled the spark plug and it looked great. I then tried grounding the spark plug to the unit and pulled starter cord – visually…
