The Floatron kills algae and is a safer and economical alternative to the chemical marinade of most pools. It is solid state with no moving parts, no batteries and is portable and cost-effective. The mineral electrode depletes after 1 to 3 seasons (depending on pool size) and can be replaced. No more chlorine allergies, red eyes, discolored hair, or bleached bathing suits. Floatron will typically reduce chemical expenses by an average of 80%. Comes complete including a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty. Effective for pools up to approximately 40,000 gallons. Floatron Benefits: No More: Red Eye, Discolored or Bleached Hair & Faded Bathing Suits Reduce Chemical Expenses Non Toxic Unlike Chlorine which degrades, the Floatron USES NATURAL MINERALS which do not degrade or evaporate Safe to swim in pool with the Floatron Pool Cleaner How Does the Floatron Work??? This natural pool cleaner is solar powered and does not require batteries. Simply set the Floatron Pool cleaner in your pool and allow the unit to float atop of the water. As the sunlight powers the Floatron, the sunlight is converted into a harmless electrical current which energizes a special alloyed mineral electrode below the water. This causes the release of mineral ions converting your pool water into mineralized or ionized water, which in turn controls the growth of microorganisms in your pool. Enjoy your pool this season without all the chemical side-effects that comes along with chlorine pools. Keep your bathing suit from fading and bleaching, avoid redeye and don’t worry about damaging or bleaching your hair – These are all nasty side-effects of chlorine pools.

Beats chemicals and just keeps working I have used this Floatron for over ten years in a twelve-foot aboveground pool in South New Jersey and am very satisfied with its performance. I just left it floating all the time, and it kept the water free of algae and turbidity to the point that I used chlorine only once in Spring after removing the winter tarp, and once more in late Fall before putting the pool cover back on and disconnecting the pump. In all those years, I had to replace the copper electrode twice, at $50.00 or so each…

Love the Floatron Live in Albuquerque, NM. Have a 15 x 30 feet inground vinyl-lined pool that came w/ the house 10 years ago when we moved in. Sick of chemicals and trying to get the right balance and kill the algae I saw starting to grow. The Floatron (though I didn’t get it from Amazon) came with a 3-month guarantee, so I thought I’d try it through the summer months. It was wonderful. Water feels so good and you don’t smell chemicals. A friend locally said my pool is the only one she will swim in. Only need a…

Not a toy but a great tool Had this Floatron now for about a year and pool season in South FL is year round. It has been floating happily in my pool the entire time, I do not take it out, since I have a pool cage and therefore sun exposure is less because of the screen blocking some the intensity of the sun. But this has not really been a problem for me. This pool always was a bit of a problem pool since the previous owner had a gelcoat resurfacing done and that is the most awful way to go since it peels and…
