This is a terrific string trimmer. It holds a charge very well. We charged it upon receipt and have trimmed our very big yard at least three times and it still has plenty of battery life. And, we know that because there is a digital indicator for the charge remaining in the battery. My husband loves the variable speed switch and states both speeds work great. Very impressed! I gave this trimmer to my mother who loves to do her own gardening and yard work. She is 76 years old so I was concerned this trimmer may be a bit heavy for her.
