GREAT TORO TRIMMER PART When I’m doing the trimming and don’t place the spool cap on properly, then start trimming again, sometimes the spool cap flings off and the spring goes flying. I’m usually very careful because it is so hard to find the sping. The exact part I needed! I have owned a Toro 8″ 51464 trimmer for many years. It has provided very reliable service. The only draw back (other than trimming line growing harder and harder to find) was the damaged spool cap. Over the years the spool cap had taken a beating and had chunks of plastic missing.
